Error: "Divide by Zero or Overflow" Error Starting TeleMagic

Error: "Divide by Zero or Overflow" Error Starting TeleMagic

Starting TeleMagic and other 16 bit applications on a very fast computer (such as a Pentium II 350) running Windows NT 4.0 may result in the above Windows error message. The error is generated when Windows expects the application to be finished loading before it actually is. Microsoft is aware of the problem, but there is no patch available at this time.

The solution is to use a version of the FOXW2600.ESL file which has been modified by the TeleMagic R&D department.

1.      Download the file FOXW2600.ZIP from the TeleMagic web site at www.telemagic.com. To locate this file, click the FTP Site link below, then download FOXW2600.ZIP. This file is located in the following directory: ftp.telemagic.com.
Note: This file is also included in the HotFix file V35C-HF.EXE.
2.      Extract the file FOXW2600.ESL.
3.      Have all users exit out of TeleMagic.
4.      Copy the new FOXW2600.ESL file to the global directory, overwriting the existing file.
